This is the fifth installment of the series,<\/p>\n

Day trip to Kotor in scorching Montenegro<\/h2>\n

The following is a report on the<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I was staying in Dubrovnik for a series of nights,<\/p>\n

Surprisingly small old town,<\/p>\n

I suddenly had the idea to go away \u30fb\u30fb\u30fb\u30fb for a little change of pace,<\/p>\n

I took a 1-day tour to\/from the local area.\u00e2<\/p>\n

A Hiace picked me up at my lodgings in Dubrovnik,<\/p>\n

A very easy door-to-door trip to Montenegro.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Our guide was a beautiful blonde woman who spoke fluent English.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Overland border crossing.<\/p>\n

The stamp on the passport was a car symbol.\u00c2<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Taking a break at a cafe on the way,<\/p>\n

We then transferred to a boat.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

We arrived at a small island with one association and a pothole.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The pink of the roses in the foreground, the light blue of the roof, and the blue of the sky were so beautiful.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

~Marian Church on the Reef~.<\/p>\n

In the 15th century, a ship with a local fisherman on board wrecked on this reef, and the fisherman caught the icon of Maria.<\/p>\n

Legend has it that the reef was reclaimed and this church was built to worship this icon.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

We will now take a boat to the other side of the river.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

On the way, we saw a small island.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

A short break on the other side of the river in a town called Perasto.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

It looks beautiful in the picture,<\/p>\n

I remember it was very hard because of the intense heat that made me sizzle and burn.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

From there, a 40-minute boat ride pushes through the bay,<\/p>\n

Arrive at destination \"Kotor\".<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The old town is surrounded by diggings and walls and is not visible from the outside.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

There were three entrances, and we entered the old town from the main entrance.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

This is the castle wall you saw in the previous photo,<\/p>\n

You can walk for free.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

While walking along the city walls, I found a staircase,<\/p>\n

A few tourists come down here and there.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

I walked around at random, not knowing where it would lead.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

You can see the harbor outside the city.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

It was extremely hot that day, 40 degrees or so.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

This summer, we have seen temperatures in Japan reach a maximum of nearly 40 degrees Celsius in many parts of the country.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The journey has just begun.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n
