Hello, I am Sato, a craftsman.<\/p>\n

I am currently raising a 3 year old and a 1 year old, and when I am watching them, a watch that I can look at quickly is more useful than checking the time on my phone.<\/p>\n

Since I carry my child in my arms, I was looking for something simple, thin, and lightweight, not too rugged.<\/p>\n

And they get dirty and broken easily (several temples of sunglasses were broken...). I wanted to buy something affordable.<\/p>\n

So I decided to go with CASIO's MQ-24-9E. It is so-called \"Chipkasi\".<\/p>\n

With its gold dial and thin, simple design, it will suit any style.<\/p>\n

However, rubber belts get stuffy in the summer.<\/p>\n

I decided to buy a stainless steel mesh belt to replace it, looking for something that would be less steamy.<\/p>\n

However, the belt width does not fit slightly. The Chipkasi is 16mm and the mesh belt is 18mm.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

If it doesn't fit, make it fit! So, the first step is to match the dimensions,<\/p>\n

Cut both ends 1 mm apart with a thread saw.<\/p>\n

File the cut area.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Then reattach the removed pin and attach it to the dial.<\/p>\n

This is the completion of the project! I think it turned out better than I expected for a first time.<\/p>\n

Just by changing the belt, you can change the impression.<\/p>\n

Jewelry can be completely transformed by simply adding stones or changing the texture.<\/p>\n
