Croatia, which I visited on vacation.<\/p>\n

This is the seventh installment of the series,<\/p>\n

The mysterious port town of Split<\/h2>\n

The following is a report on the<\/p>\n

\n

The group left Croatia for a day and stopped in Bosnia and Herzegovina.<\/p>\n

Next, we went further north and came to the city of Split in Croatia.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

The origins of the city of Split are very unique.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

It was built as a palace for the Roman Emperor Diocletian to spend his last years quietly, and the emperor spent six years here,<\/p>\n

After the death of the emperor, this palace was abandoned for hundreds of years as the Roman Empire declined.<\/p>\n

In its ruins, around the 7th century, people began to live in the palace where they had been marooned and built their own houses.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The palace grounds are rectangular, measuring approximately 215 meters from north to south and 180 meters from east to west.<\/p>\n

The palace is surrounded by a 20-meter-high wall, and the palace and its surroundings are packed with attractions.<\/p>\n

Now, let's enter the old town!<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Passing through the gate, you will find yourself in a mysterious space where the modern and the ancient intersect.<\/p>\n

While the cafe has parasols, in the back there is a modern? In the back of the building, there is a modern hotel.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

There are many narrow side streets.<\/p>\n

It was a very strange feeling to see people's lives, with their laundry hanging out to dry.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

The integration with this old building is amazing.<\/p>\n

Part of the basement can also be passed through free of charge.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Souvenir shops are crowded during the day.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Passing out of the palace, one gets the feeling of a European seaside resort.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

The port is right in front of you.<\/p>\n

The old town is also compact enough to wander around on foot.<\/p>\n

I enjoyed it very much.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Split is a great base for visiting Croatia's small islands.<\/p>\n

I had been trying to decide whether to relax in the city or go to one of the islands when I arrived in Split.<\/p>\n

Since the weather looked good, we decided to go on a day trip to \"Hvar Island\" the next day.<\/p>\n

Loose, a group of small crystals called druzy. This one is made of onyx.<\/p>\n

The light pink morganite and the cutting and color are perfectly balanced.<\/p>\n

The result is one-of-a-kind.<\/p>\n
