At ADAM Adan, our custom-made jewelry specialty store, we listen carefully to the wishes of the couple, design the couple's original wedding ring together, and make each piece by hand in our directly-managed workshop.We have received many requests and questions from customers who want to be involved not only in the design but also in the production of the rings themselves, and who want to make their wedding rings by their own hands.<\/strong><\/p>\n

However, jewelry making requires a high level of skill and experience, and the workshop handles dangerous items such as large specialized tools, burners, and chemicals, so it was not possible for the customer to enter the workshop! We were unable to accommodate their wishes to be involved in the production of their own wedding rings.

\uff5eThe actual process of self-made wedding rings<\/strong><\/p>\n

(1) Day 1 of the visit: \"Design consideration\".<\/strong>
\nFirst, you and our advisors will work together to design a wedding ring that is unique to you and your partner.
\nPlease allow 10 days for the designer to create a design drawing based on what you have discussed, and we will provide you with a quotation.<\/p>\n

Second day of visit: \"Confirmation of design drawing and estimate. Design decision.<\/strong>
\nWe will show you the finished design and discuss the final design with you.
\nPlease take your time until you decide on a design.
\nOnce the design is finalized, we will schedule a self-made date for the couple to actually create the piece.<\/p>\n

(3) Third day of visit: \"Self-made (wedding rings made by yourself)<\/strong>
\nOn the day of the self-made ring, the couple will put on aprons and work with our craftsmen to create their wedding rings in our design room, about 50 meters from the Adan storefront.
\nThe actual production is done by a technique called wax modeling. The rings are made from wax prototypes that have been pre-set in terms of size and volume, and are then shaped little by little as you look at the design drawings yourself. Of course, this is a difficult process that almost all of us have never done before, but don't worry, our craftsmen will teach you how to do it. After 30 minutes of making the ring, you will be completely absorbed in making your own ring.
\nIf you wish, we can take a picture of the two of you making the memorial. Not only will it be a wonderful memory, but it would also be great to show it off at your wedding.
\nIt takes about 2 to 3 hours to make a prototype. This is the end of the work that everyone is expected to do.<\/p>\n

After this, we leave the rest to our professional craftsmen. We will prepare your prototype, cast it in platinum or gold base metal, set the stone, finish it, and add text to complete the ring.<\/p>\n

\nAbout a month after the self-made day. Finally, you meet the ring you have made yourself!
\nYou will have a fitting and confirm the finished product and size before receiving it.<\/p>\n
