Last time,Turban shell<\/strong><\/span>I polished the<\/p>\n

First of all, please note that this is a completely self-satisfied record, just like free research during summer vacation. (^^;<\/p>\n

It all started with a turban shell that was served for dinner in a normal and tasty way.<\/p>\n

The inside of the shell is indescribably beautiful.rainbow-colored<\/strong><\/span>So I kept one.<\/p>\n

I saw it in Okinawa.great green turban (Turbo marmoratus)<\/span><\/strong>I was very impressed with the objects such as<\/p>\n

I'll shave it down and clean it up someday.\"\u266a<\/span><\/strong>I was in a \"carefree\" mood when I found these shells.<\/p>\n

The work was stopped for a while when it was soaked in bleach overnight to make it completely white.<\/p>\n

Now, we are back to work after a long absence.<\/p>\n

First, the sharp edges like horns are removed by crushing them.<\/p>\n

Use a flat-blade screwdriver, hammer, etc., to crush the material in a heap.<\/p>\n

Since the fragments are quite sharp, it is safer to work inside a bag or the like so they do not scatter.<\/p>\n

Once the corners are removed, the surface is simply scraped.<\/p>\n

The crushed area is rugged, so military gloves are essential to avoid injury.<\/p>\n

At first I had to file it down, but if I didn't, the day would end, or rather, the night would end!<\/p>\n

So I changed to an electric reuter in the middle of the process.<\/p>\n

When the conditions are right, a nacreous layer is formed around the foreign body in the body, and a pearl may be formed.<\/p>\n

Pearls used in jewelry are produced on the same principle.<\/p>\n

The interesting thing about pearls is that the size and color of the pearls grown differ depending on the mother shell (^^).<\/p>\n

Well, with that in mind, I finally finished polishing the turban after listening to three rounds of the two CDs.<\/p>\n

This gap is like saying, \"He looks like a toga, but he's actually a nice guy.\"<\/p>\n

I almost gave up many times, but I'm glad I persevered and polished it up!\u266a<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n
