Our activities to support the disaster-affected areas were introduced in the Ishinomaki Nichinichi Shimbun newspaper.

Ishinomaki Nichinichi Shimbun [dated 1/25/2012] introduced our efforts in the affected areas.

We recently reported in our blog about the reworking of a wedding ring for a couple from a tarako shop in Ishinomaki, and we were interviewed and featured in a wonderful article when we handed it over to them.

For more information on the support featured, please see this blog post.

Ishinomaki Daily News was an amazing newspaper that continued to publish a handwritten wall newspaper immediately after the disaster and never stopped for a day, even amidst great difficulties.

I am grateful to have met people with a truly strong sense of mission and incredible enthusiasm, along with Minato Suisan, which reopened for business less than two months after the massive tsunami of the earthquake.
Thank you very much.
