I am working on a necklace with a leaf and bird motif, and I will show you how to make a stone ring to hold a small ruby.
There are several types of stone seats, but this time we would like to make a type in which the base and the fastening part are integrated into a single piece.
A cut is made in a pipe made of K18, and four claws that hold the stone in place are shaved out with a file.
Spread the claws outward a little. Polish the shaved area, cut it at the required length, and the stone seat is ready.
Several made stone blocks are placed on the top part of the necklace, brazed, and then the stones are clamped.
We are also working on a ring with the same bird motif.♪
