The Japan Jewelry Awards is an annual jewelry design competition held by the Japan Jewelry Association (JJA) in conjunction with the JJF (Japan Jewelry Fair) trade fair held at Tokyo Big Sight (August 21-29 this year).
I have not entered a competition since I was nominated for the Good Design Award in 2005, and this is the first time I have entered a design competition for jewelry only, but I am honored to receive the newcomer's award. Thank you very much.
